**Role Summary:**

Customer facing staff responsible for winning business. In this role you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the South East area. You will manage complex issues within your Rod Lift Systems areas of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.

**Essential Responsibilities:**

In the role of Senior Sales Manager - Sales, you will:

+ Within the East Texas, NE Louisiana and SE Arkansas area you will be responsible for selling product(s), services, parts, solutions, or projects

+ Lead the development of business plans for a specific product or product line

+ Cooperate with technical colleagues to answer customer requests and discuss local conditions

+ Be involved in medium-sized sales

+ Manage the sales proposal process from opportunity identification through contract flow down to key BHGE organizations

+ Lead deal structuring, pricing and all other proposal development activities as the sales team's primary proposal interface with projects, platform, global operations, risk management and other functional groups as required

+ Lead deal strategy development and reviews, ultimately obtaining appropriate approvals for pricing, delivery and other commercial terms for specific sales proposals

+ Maintain frequent contact with current customers. Identify and develop new customers and opportunities

+ Ensure a Professional Sales Experience for customers during all aspects of sales process and touch points including: Formal meeting agendas, formal follow-up stating sequence of events and next steps in writing, and issue resolution in a timely fashion **Qualifications/Requirements:**

+ Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university

+ Minimum 5 years of experience in Rod Lift Systems Sales **Desired Characteristics:**

+ Strong oral and written communication skills

+ Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Knowledge of related products and services including Beam Pumping Units, Automation and down hole rod lift pumps

+ Demonstrate ability to analyze and resolve Rod Lift problems within the Artificial Lift Market

+ Demonstrate ability to lead programs / projects

+ Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs

+ Establish project management skills

+ Familiar with SROD Sizing software and a good understanding of the mechanical well bore Knowledge of reservoir characteristics and terminology

+ Develop a solution selling framework for BHGE's Rod Lift Systems business -- tailor life-cycle plans, ennoblement deliverable, required resources, technology support, maturity model, sales methodology etc.PLEASE NOTE: Kilgore, TX is the preferred location, however other U.S. locations may be considered. **Locations:** United States; Louisiana, Texas; Kilgore, Marshall, Tyler, Bossier City, ShreveportGE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening.
