**Role Summary:**

The MYA (Multi-Year Agreement) Sales Manager is responsible for working directly with customers to identify MYA opportunities, build the offer, and work to close the contract across many industries, such as Datacenters, Telecom, Paper, Utility and Metals / Mining. This individual is responsible for building and managing the MYA pipeline and will be measured based on MYA orders.

**Essential Responsibilities:**

As the MYA (Multi-Year Agreement) Sales Manager, you will:

+ Create demand for MYA's by working with customers to understand their business models, identify ways that GE can enhance the customer business results, and assist in formulating a multi-year approach to capture the opportunity

+ Build pipeline of MYA opportunities and actively move opportunities from concept to proposal to closure

+ Advise MYA commercial and product line of competitive information and provide feedback on market price levels

+ Leverage regional sales team relationships to educate customers on MYA approach and benefits

+ Understand customer decision process and identify key decision makers

+ Provide input to region annual growth targets

+ Work with regions to monitor progress versus targets

+ Consult with customer on growth and continuous improvement options and opportunities


+ Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college in Business, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience

+ Minimum of 3 years of B-B sales experience

**Desired Characteristics:**

+ Master's Degree from an accredited university or college

+ Knowledge of services for electrical distribution systems

+ Field and/or sales experience with medium voltage and low voltage switchgear

+ Exposure to long term service agreement structure, execution, and financial metrics

+ Ability to translate customer needs to technology solutions

+ Demonstrated ability to drive consensus across matrix organization

+ Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
