**Role Summary:**

The Gas Compression Marketing Leader will work cross-functionally with Sales / Services teams and others to grow the revenue of the Waukesha franchise in North America. In this key role, you will work with business leaders to provide strategic direction, understand key customer needs, position Waukesha offerings and represent the business to promote Waukesha products and service solutions in gas compression ecosystem.

**Essential Responsibilities:**

As the Gas Compression Marketing Leader, you will:

+ Lead marketing activities for Waukesha engines in the Oil & Gas segment

+ Build the value proposition for the relevant segments by partnering with sales, product line management, application engineering

+ Identify and segment the key packagers, mid-stream players, and other channels in the gas compression segment and introduce Waukesha's commercial solutions with the right partners

+ Build the go to market strategy for Waukesha solutions with the key stakeholders and target channels to market

+ Establish go to market strategy for Waukesha's commercial offerings

+ Establish the necessary competitive intelligence process, both for new equipment and services, to improve Waukesha's positioning in the segment

+ Provide competitive insights to product management and commercial teams to stay ahead of the competition and 3rd part service providers

+ Work closely with the Installed Base team to improve accuracy of the data and establish right targeting / segmentation of the customer base

+ Present Waukesha commercial solutions at key conferences

+ Develop a clear strategy with channel partners to expand business' reach to end users and other key stakeholders

+ Lead content creation for Waukesha marketing collaterals, such as brochures, product and service offerings, webinars and white papers

+ Provide input to DP's strategic business reviews and be responsible for market and competitive insights

+ Facilitate and coordinate strategy sessions across P&Ls

+ Drive execution and launch of marketing campaigns, both for new equipment and services

+ Leverage digital tools to increase the effectiveness of the marketing and sales organization

+ Build an operating rhythm with sales to drive initiatives, share insights and develop regional strategies

+ Implement and execute DP marketing programs

+ Build connections between marketing, product line, installed base, sales and application engineering


+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field from an accredited university or technical college

+ Minimum of 8 years of experience in a marketing or sales position

+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry


+ Ability and willingness to travel 50% of the time, domestically and occasionally internationally

**Desired Characteristics:**

+ Master's Degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college

+ Knowledge of reciprocating engine technology

+ Deep expertise in commercial activation and/or marketing

+ Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills (cross functional initiatives, formal presentations, etc.)

+ Team oriented with demonstrated ability to motivate and work well with diverse, cross-functional teams

+ Customer focused mindset with proven ability to respond quickly to internal and external customer needs

+ Ability to work collaboratively and navigate across multiple matrix organization

+ High ethics and integrity

+ Demonstrated behaviors to build trust, transparency and credibility with stakeholder relationships

+ Fluent in English
