**Role Summary:**

The Associate Consultant, Analytics will work with clients and multi-disciplinary consulting teams and will possess strong analytical skills, a structured approach to problem solving and experience with process improvement and statistical analysis. In addition, the Junior Consultant, Analytics must be

a self-starter with potential to lead.


**Essential Responsibilities:**

The Associate Consultant, Analytics is responsible for delivery of productivity solutions for GE's healthcare clients. Analytics Consulting is an exciting discipline combining traditional consulting with analytics disciplines such as data science, statistics, simulation and predictive modeling. Engagements follow a problem back approach, leveraging interviews and data mining to align clients around high-value problem statements, then designing targeted solutions to improve

performance. Project types include designing efficient healthcare facilities, re-configuring existing capacity for patient throughput and experience, improving health system utilization and implementing real-time analytics in command centers to dynamically optimize coordination of

patient care.


Responsibilities Include

oContributing to engagement deliverables, coordinate activities and provide any necessary support

to the engagement team.

oAssisting in the collection, validation and analysis of data to support engagement objectives.

oContributing to the planning and completion of high quality engagement deliverables on time and

on budget.

oAssisting in the design and layout of analysis and in writing accurate reports to depict findings,

contributing to the development of conclusions and recommendations.

oAssisting in the preparation of clear and insightful executive-level presentations.

oEstablishing credibility and develop relationships with mid-level client managers.

oServing as a professional representative of GE Healthcare in all public and client settings.

oParticipating in Knowledge Management activities as directed


**Qualifications/Requirements:**

oBachelor's Degree in Industrial or Electrical Engineering, Math or Statistics or related discipline,

oExperience in outcome based process improvement, change management

oFormal problem solving, logic

oExperience with analytic techniques: regression analysis, simulation modeling, timeseries

forecasting, hypothesis testing using R, SAS or similar software

oExperience programming in Java, C# or similar production level language applied to data

management, algorithms and automation

oData management in SQL or Oracle, understanding of Data Mining principles and strategies

oHands on experience with data visualization and dashboard development in Tableau, Qlik or

similar

oExcellent communication skills, teamwork

oAbility to travel minimum 75%

oExperience in outcome based process improvement, change management

oExperience working in a healthcare provider / acute care setting
