Account Development Consultant - Client Management Team

US Client Group is seeking energetic and enthusiastic Account Development Consultants to focus on and manage dedicated portfolios of Customers that are no longer actively spending and engaged and/or manage a retention/low engaged portfolio of Customers in the CMT segment. These are exciting opportunities to be a part of a team that will focus on "winning back", "reactivating and entrenching spend", educating, strengthening the relationship, and re-gaining the loyalty of these Customers through a dedicated treatment strategy. In addition, the portfolios will have predictive Trigger messaging to aide in attempt for even greater entrenchment and win back success.
Responsibilities Include:
* Serve as a central point of contact for the portfolios within CMT

* Identify opportunities to WinBack, entrench, educate, and drive growth in order to maximize the card value for each Customer both through triggers and targeted Customer treatments

* Partner with Marketing, Risk and Servicing teams to deliver world-class support and coordinated customer treatment

* Help navigate within American Express to solve ad-hoc needs for clients (i.e. credit, risk, underwriting, procurement, marketing, etc.)

* 1 years US Client Group experience in an Account Development Role

* Strong GCS business acumen with both Business and Corporate product expertise

* Excellent phone presence with strong will to win and positive, tenacious attitude

* Strong personal excellence

* High achiever with entrepreneurial spirit

* A deep understanding of the Blue Box and ability to effectively establish relationships with internal partners

* Relationship management skills

* An understanding and interpretation of industries and financial statement information

* Strong organization and great time management skills

* Outstanding problem solving skills, with a track record of driving pragmatic resolutions to complex issues

* Strong compliance record in prior positions
